Q: How do you join CCSC? A. First: Read all CCSC rules and by-laws (under respective tabs at www.ccscar.com.) Cost of applying for membership in Cleburne County Shooting Club includes both the one-time application fee of $50.00 and the first year of annual dues. Annual Dues are $125.00 for Adults under age 65: Annual dues are $75.00 for Senior Adults age 65+ and Law Enforcement (LE), both current and retired. Cleburne County Shooting Club has an annual membership year: July 1st through June 30th. ALL memberships expire June 30th each year. Note: Applicants in May and June will receive membership through June 30th of the following year. TOTAL AMOUNT DUE, INCLUDING $50.00 APPLICATION FEE, WHEN APPLYING IN:May through November: Adult $175.00 (50.00 + 125.00); Senior & LE $125.00 (50.00+75.00)December thru April (1/2 yr): Adult $112.50 (50.00 + 62.50); Senior & LE $87.50 (50.00 + 37.50)

Q: Does Cleburne County Shooting Club have employees?A. No. All CCSC officers are volunteers. Currently CCSC does not have any employees. Q: What is an “Annual year”A: CCSC has an ‘annual membership year’ that runs from July 1st each year through June 30th the following year. Q: Do you have discounts for current or retired military or disabled vets?A: At this time, CCSC does not offer discounts for military, retired military or disabled vets. HOWEVER: per By-laws, on CCSC website: Guests: Any person not a member of the Cleburne County Shooting Club, Inc., is a guest. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a club member who will be responsible for the guest’s conduct while at the range.Individual guests are limited to a maximum of 4 visits per membership year. Guests who are part of the member’s immediate family are not subject to this limitation. A spouse of any member shall be accorded the same rights and privileges of the member. However, the voting privilege shall be limited to one vote per paid membership.NOTE: Immediate family members are parents, grandparents, children, step-children, grandchildren, and siblings.So, to emphasize: Immediate family members may enter and use the range only when accompanied by the club member. Club members must never give the gate code to anyone, including family members. If you arrive in separate vehicles, you must meet them at the gate and let them in. Q: Can my spouse use the range without me accompanying? A: Yes. Spouses, who are not the actual member, have the same membership rights as the member. Exception: only one vote per paid membership. Q: How are membership fees determined?A: Currently, annual dues for “Regular” Members under 65 are $125.00. Seniors (age 65+ and those turning 65 by December 31) are $75.00. Law Enforcement Officers and retired Law Enforcement Officers are $75.00 Applications received from May 1 through November 30: Full amount of annual dues are payable and your membership will expire June 30th of the following year.Applications received from December 1 through April 30: Half the amount of annual dues are payable. (Ex: Either $62.50 or $37.50 depending on your membership category). Your membership expires the following June 30th. Q: How will I know when my membership expires?A: You will receive your renewal notice by email around the first week of May. Also, the expiration date, June 30th is on front and back of your membership card, as well as the mailing address. All members are encouraged to mail in their membership dues beginning the first week of May. Q: Why does the application for membership request you to send an email to ccsctreasurer01@gmail.com when you mail in an application?A: Several reasons for this: It notifies CCSC membership to expect an application at the post office, (we have had applications lost in the mail). An important reason is that it notifies the board to schedule you, as a potential new member, for the next orientation program. Q: How soon will I receive my membership card?A: You will receive your new membership card at the conclusion your orientation program. Q: Is it possible to get my application processed quickly, for example: “I will be coming to Heber Springs this weekend. Is it possible to get my membership processed before then”? A: Your application will normally be processed within 30 days, usually much less depending on various situations. However, you will not become a member until you attend the orientation program, which is scheduled when your application is processed. Q: Can I buy ammunition or supplies at the range?A: No. The range has no employees and is not manned. We do not sell anything. Q: Does the range have drinks and snacks available?A: No. Please bring your own. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at any time.
